The College's Philosophies
The College's philosophies are simple, yet far-reaching. In all things we do, we come from a Wholistic, Complementary and Healing oriented base.
Wholistic
The term 'wholistic' refers to incorporating all parts of people - Intellectual, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual. "Spiritual" does not imply any religious or dogma implications; simply those innermost aspects of a person that belong to them, and them alone.
Through an approach that integrates these aspects, personal healthcare and well-being can be achieved. Without acknowledgement and investigation of each of these aspects, it becomes difficult to propose an accurate or appropriate health assessment, or to implement an effective healing plan. All our approaches to teaching and healing arise from this wholistic approach.
Complementary
For us, 'complementary' refers to a partnership that is becoming evident between the natural and the orthodox medical systems. It is our belief that Natural Therapies is not alternative but complementary to conventional medicine.
Healing
Healing comes as a result of connection between people and the interaction that ensues. It can come through the actions of a kind stranger, a friend, a massage therapist, a naturopath or a doctor. Healing can come from any thought or action of kindness or caring. Put simply, helping will always heal. These elements are the very essence of what we do and the way we do it. We therefore differ from orthodox teaching establishments who generally pay little regard to the "person"; instead being focussed on "the ailment".

We hope you thoroughly enjoy yourself with everything you do at the College. We believe we offer the best wholistic, face-to-face training available in the Southern Tablelands, and back that up with substantial Nationally Recognised Training and Natural Therapies Industry Accreditations.
