Finance
Policy
As a private College, we receive no form of government subsidies. Students have access to Austudy or Youth allowance for full-time courses.
Philosophically, it is one of the College's beliefs that, where practicable, money should not come between a student and their hopes or dreams for their future. "Within reason", we allow this philosophy to be a principle in dealing with student's financial arrangements.
This approach has led to the development of the very successful 'pay-as-you-go' payment plan. We recommend that students enroll per subject, and pay per subject using this plan. It is, therefore as close as we can get to pay-as-you-go fee system.
Please also note that the fees pertaining to full or part-time career courses delivered by Registered Training Organisations are GST-Free.
Fee Administration
The "Total Fee" for a subject or course is that published on the relevant course publicity flyer.
The Fee includes a Deposit of about 20% to secure your place, which is paid at least two weeks prior to Start Date. The balance due is then divided into monthly or fortnightly installments which are paid in advance of the relevant period. Once a course starts, deposits or installments are not refundable. Withdrawal from the course before it actually starts entitles a refund of the Deposit. An administration fee will be deducted from the refund.
Course Fees
It is important that the College is as transparent as possible in respect of student's fees. At the same time, it is inevitable that fees do change from time to time; we try to make changes only in accordance with the CPI yearly increases. Any figure presented should therefore be regarded as an indication of cost, which figure needs to be checked prior to enrolling in a subject. Below is the fee structure for each subject offered by the College, correct as at 1st July 2006.
