Part Time Study

"WHICH QUALIFICATION DO I WANT?"

This question is commonly asked because of differences between qualifications and what they achieve. With this in mind, we believe the best way to achieve your goals in life is by taking one or two steps at a time, while still being conscious of your overall options, and remaining aware of your larger goal or aspiration.

To help, we offer all courses broken down into Modules/Subjects:

  • You may take 1, or 2, or even 3 Modules at a time – depending on your wishes and your personal circumstances
  • To a certain extent, you may take modules in whatever order suits you best.
  • Each module completed competently may be put towards whatever credential you eventually select. You do not have to repeat a module just because you decide to change your goal!
  • Apart from the Full-Time Diploma of Remedial Massage Course, you enrol in, and pay for each module separately.

Students can take advantage of the College's flexible learning approaches by undertaking courses on a part-time basis. This is because, as we have said above, we allow students to enrol and pay their fees per subject.

Part-time usually means a student will attend two evenings per week, plus supervised practice clinics. The Certificate IV in Massage, for example, then takes about two years to complete. The time can be shortened, of course, by attending more subjects and attending Student Practice Clinics weekly.
